The horror genre has an under appreciated skill of amplifying emotions. By that, I mean other than fear. Camera angles, music, and the characters are a fantastic way to feel happiness, anger, and utter hopelessness. “The Fate of the Final Girl” started my interest in women in horror. What happens to a women who’s all alone, left to make choices in a world that’s exploitive of her? This series of screen cap studies explore this theme, as well were important style studies for me.
