Malati Nethala, a single mother in her 30s, has been stuck in a rut. She’s been working hard over the past several years raising her son, Rohan, after her husband, Samar, died suddenly. Now that Rohan is older, she has more time on her hands. One day she meets artist Griffin Murayama. While Malati discovers that she’s stuck in her past, she learns that Griffin is desperately running from hers.
